Membership news

Prize winner: Willa Burke

Willa Burke, Cordova Bay Association (CBA) member and Cordovan deliverer, receives her third prize from CBA membership secretary Janice de Cunha at the annual CBA volunteers' luncheon on May 24 in the main hall of Cordova Bay United Church.

First prize went to Aideen Lydon and second prize went to Diana Morgan, but they could not attend the luncheon because of prior commitments. All three prizes were awarded for signing up new and renewed members in the CBA.

Stop Press! First and second-place winners

On the afternoon of 28 May, Diana Morgan kindly hosted an 'English tea' so that Janice de Cunha could present Aideen and herself with the first and second prizes.

Aideen was asked to select a Cordova Bay restaurant in which to enjoy a meal with the $50 voucher given by the CBA. She and her husband, Ivor, decided on the very popular restaurant, Beklens.

The second and third prizes were Art Knapp garden centre vouchers valued at $10 each.
